Mc Kay, Kieran (Ballymoney and Portrush)

When Kieran died, we his family, Danny (his father) his brothers and sisters, Janella, Donna, Claire, Gary, Rhonda, Ian, Ryan, Lisa, Heather, Colin, Leona and the entire family circle wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sudden bereavement.

Special thanks to Father Damian McCaughan P.P. who officiated at the funeral service. Thanks to Aimee Doherty for the beautiful singing and thanks to Aidan Reid who prepared the grave. Thanks to the florist for the beautiful floral arrangements.

Thanks to the staff of Portstewart medical center, thanks to the staff of Coleraine hospital and thanks to Eunan, Claire, Asha and all those who supported Kieran. Special thanks to all Kieran’s neighbours, friends and his landlords.

Heartfelt thanks to all who called at the house, sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards, text messages, flowers and gifts. Thanks for all the phone calls, messages on social media and donations in lieu of flowers. Thanks to all who provided food, especially Cindy and her family. Thank you to Ruairi for composing such a personal poem.

Thanks to all our extended family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who turned out to line the route and pay their respects on Kieran’s final journey. We deeply appreciate all the kind words and thoughtfulness.

We are forever thankful to Dempsey Funeral Directors, especially Mairead for all her guidance, support and attention to every detail at this very difficult time.

As it is not possible to thank everyone personally, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Kieran’s months mind Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady and St Patrick’s, Ballymoney on Saturday 1st May at 6pm. Due to Government Guidelines numbers will be limited, the Mass can be viewed on the parish Youtube channel
