The family of Larry McCay wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends and neighbours who offered sympathy and support during our recent loss.
We appreciate the help given during wake and funeral, for the food, messages of support, mass and sympathy cards. We extend a special thankyou to all the staff at the Friary surgery, Community District Nurse team, Community Respiratory Team, Acute Care at Home team, McMillian and Marie Curie Nurses and McKeevers Chemist (Dobbin & Thomas Street) and the wonderful staff at Ann’s Home Care who looked after daddy over the last 6 months.
Our sincere thanks to Father David Nugent for celebrating a very personal and fitting requiem mass also Cathy Kelly for the beautiful music and all those who participated in mass and the funeral. Thankyou also to Kevin McBride for playing such a big part in helping to make dad’s send off so special.
Thanks to JJ McArdle Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and also the gravedigger for preparing dad’s final resting place.
As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
Larry’s month mind mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Chapel on Monday 12th August 2024 at 7.30pm.
