Laurence McCASKIE
We the family of the late Laurence McCaskie would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt
thanks to all of those who sympathised, prayed and supported us throughout the recent bereavement.
Laurence was a much loved husband, father father in law, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle
and friend and is sorely missed.
We would like to thank all the health care professionals who helped with Laurence’s care. Sincere thanks to the Pallative Care Team, Foyle Hospice Team, District Nurses Respiratory Team, and Marie Curie Nurses who provided Laurence with such exceptional care and
supported us through Laurence’s illness. Sincere gratitude to the staff of Grange Family Practice, Omagh and Gordon’s Chemist, Omagh for their invaluable help.
Thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon and Father Declan Mc Geehan for spiritual support at home and during the wake. A special thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon for a beautiful and meaningful funeral mass. Thanks to the Sacristan, Eucharist Ministers
and everyone who took part in the liturgy. Special thanks to Leanne Daly for the beautiful singing and music.
Heartfelt thanks to all our family friends and kind neighbours, to all who helped and assisted us at the wake, to all who attended the wake and the funeral service, sent mass cards and sympathy cards and all who provided us with food.
Sincere thanks to Loreto Grammar School Omagh and Christian Brothers School Omagh for organising the guard of honour, it was greatly appreciated.
Special thanks to O'Kane Bros undertakers and staff for the dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and for all the kindness and support they gave to us.
We thank the grave diggers for preparing Laurence’s final resting place.
Thanks to Cappagh Parish Hall for the use of their facilities and Mark and Mairead McBride and staff for providing refreshments after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Laurence’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Thursday 22nd May at 7.30pm in Christ the King Church Strathroy.
