The family of the late Lee McDermott would like to thank extended family and friends for all your support and kind words during the sad passing of our brother Lee, also for the heart warming stories and memories you shared. They truly helped our family and highlighted what a special person Lee was, kind, caring and compassionate who would go that extra mile to help others, our family will be forever proud we had Lee for our brother.
A very special thank you to Lee's work colleagues from the Belfast and Western Trust for attending in their huge numbers to form a guard of honour, our family were overwhelmed to see huge numbers of you who attended to see Lee off on his final journey, your tribute was both emotional and comforting to us all. Also the sympathy cards and flowers from you all, we are grateful for your thoughtfulness while we are going through this difficult time.
We also want to express our appreciation to W J O Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for organising Lee's funeral arrangements in such a professional and compassionate manner.
Lee will be forever missed and forever in our hearts xx
