The death has occurred of:
Leo MURPHY
MURPHY, (Rostrevor, Co. Down; former All Ireland winning fullback 1960/61 ) February 20th, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, much loved husband of Sodilva, and loving father of Ciara (Phillips), Tara (McGlone), son Leon and the late Donard John, dear brother of the late Raymond. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law (David and Brian), daughter-in-law Fennie and grandson Conor (McGlone). Also by his brothers and sisters, Willie, Matthew, Maurice, Peter, Sr. Theresa Brigid (Carmelite Monastery, Malahide) Anne (Molina) and by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the family home 23 Cloughmore Road, where respects may be paid between 1pm and 10pm on Tuesday 21st.
Removal of the remains from his family home on Wednesday at 10:15am for 11:00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church. Burial afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetery.
Family circle only in the home on the morning of the funeral please.
