The family of the late Leonard Davis RIP wish to express our most sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of everyone who sent cards, telephoned, texted or posted messages on social media. We would like to thank everyone who attended, either visiting the funeral home or attending the funeral in person or who watched online.
A special thank you to Fr. John Gates (Magherafelt), who attended Dad in Fairfields Care Home following his passing, and to Fr. Austin McGirr, Star of the Sea, Portstewart for the beautiful and befitting funeral mass.
Thanks to Bridgeen McNicholl for the beautiful music that touched the hearts of everyone and many thanks to all those who contributed to the mass in any way. Thank you to all the ladies in the Church for ensuring we were all able to attend safely to say our goodbyes.
A heartfelt thank you to all the medical staff in who cared for Dad over the past number of years and particularly to the staff and management of Fairfields Care Home, Cookstown for their exceptional care for Dad over the past eighteen months.
A sincere thank you to those who donated in lieu of flowers to Dementia NI.
And finally the most sincere thank you to William and all the staff at Ivan Murdock & Sons, who managed every aspect of the funeral with the utmost dignity and respect.
Dad’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 27th November 2021 at 5.00pm in the Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart (booking available online from 21 November).
