Leon Ó Laifeartaigh
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Leon Ó Laifeartaigh, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice, surrounded by his loving family on 24th January 2024.
Late of Foxhill, Waterside and formerly of The Collon. May he rest in peace.
Beloved son of the late Leo and Winifred. Devoted brother of John and the late Christina. Brother-in-law of Maura and Robbie. Loving uncle of Paul, Robert and Stephanie. A much loved great-uncle of Sarah, Yasmin, John, Emine and Zara. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his dearest friends.
Leon’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty funeral home and chapel of rest. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 27th January at 11:20am for 12pm Requiem Mass in The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Trench Rd. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the McClafferty funeral home and chapel of rest between 6pm and 10pm this evening, Thursday 25th January or between 6pm and 10pm on Friday 26th January.
