On his First Anniversary of the late Lester McComiskey of 11 Church Street, Poyntzpass his Wife Noreen, daughter Claudine and son Marc, daughter-in-law Bríd, his cherished grandchildren Michael, Beth, Ruairí and Kate, wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on the sudden loss of their beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather.

As a family we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our friends, neighbours and family who sent cards, letters, flowers and phone calls over the past year. To the many people who paid their respects by standing along the street as the funeral cortege passed and were present at St. Joseph’s Chapel, Poyntzpass.

We offer our thanks to Fr Woods for celebrating the Requiem Mass and to Gareth Hughes and Kathy Mc Caughey for the beautiful music in the Chapel.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank James and Charles Digney for the professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. To all those who helped in any way, with special thanks to Tony Black and Mary McSherry, your help, support, and contributions made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

The First Anniversary Mass for Lester McComiskey will be celebrated on Sunday 16th May 2021 in St. Joseph’s Chapel, Poyntzpass at 10am.
