We, the family of the late Liam O'Connor, would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us and offered their support following our recent bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake at the family home , attended the funeral, provided food, phoned, sent messages and mass/sympathy cards. Thanks also to our good neighbours and friends who helped out at the wake.

We would like to pay a special mention to Dad's neighbours for their friendship and kindness to him over the years.

We would like to express a special word of thanks to Fr D'arcy and Fr McVeigh for their support to Dad during his time in hospital. We would also like to thank sincerely Fr Beggan for the beautiful Requiem Mass and also for his support during Dad's wake. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Fr. O'Shea for co-celebrating at the Requiem Mass and for his lifelong friendship to Dad.

Thanks also to The Tunney Family for the beautiful music and to all those who participated in the mass including Conor Woods for his beautiful musical contribution in the graveyard after Dad's burial.

A special word of thanks to all the medical professionals involved in Dad's care. In particular we would like to thank GPs Dr Joosten, Dr Davies and Dr Herdman and all the Staff at Rathmore Health Centre, Belleek. A sincere thanks also to the staff in Belleek Pharmacy for their care and attention to Dad. A special mention also to the community based medical staff and home helps who called with Dad during his short illness. Thanks also to the paramedics who attended to Dad and to all the doctors , nurses and all the health care staff in SWAH for their compassion and care towards Dad and towards us as a family in his final days. We will be forever grateful for your kindness.

Thanks also to Erne Gaels GAC for their guard of honour for Dads final journey.

A special word of thanks to Mulleek Community Association for the use of Mulleek School after the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Joe Agnew and the staff of Cafe JD for the refreshments after the burial.

Sincere thanks to Peter Carty Funeral Directors for their guidance and for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out Dad's funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.

The month’s mind mass will be celebrated in St.Michael's Church, Mulleek on Sunday 5th November 2023 at 10.00am
