The daughters, sons and family circle of the late Lily Hanna wish to express their heartfelt thanks to those who sympathised with and supported them in their recent bereavement. We thank all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the house, brought gifts, attended the funeral; those who sent cards, letters, floral tributes, telephoned or helped in any way. Our sincere gratitude to Fr Jim Crudden PP for his pastoral care, compassion and prayers in our home and for officiating at the Funeral Mass. Many thanks to the staff and students of St Malachy’s High School, Castlewellan, to Anna Moore for her beautiful music and everyone who assisted on the day of the funeral. A special thanks to all the staff at Donard Group Practice; District Nurses and to McKeevers’ pharmacy staff. We also wish to acknowledge the NI Ambulance Service and the PSNI. Our thanks to Cunningham Bros Funeral Directors and Florists for their professionalism in conducting the funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. The Month’s Mind Mass for Lily will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Newcastle on Sunday, 17 December 2023 at 11.30am.
