Madeline Wade
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Madeline Wade, peacefully at Owen Mor Care Home on 9th November 2023.
Late of 43 Lislane Drive. May she rest in peace.
Beloved mother of Annmarie, Johnny, Charlotte and Joanne. Devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Precious daughter of the late MaryRose. A much loved sister of the late Lottie and Daisy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Madeline’s remains will leave the Creggan Republican Monument at 6pm this evening, Thursday 9th November to repose at her late residence, 43 Lislane Drive from 6:30pm. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 11th November at 9:20am for 10am requiem mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Wake house strictly private from 11pm till 10am.
