The death has occurred of:
Madge MC NAMEE (née CONNOLLY)
We, the family of the late Madge Mc Namee, wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to all who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers, provided food, and helped with refreshments throughout the wake. Your kindness and support were a great comfort to us at such a sad and difficult time. We thank C&A Cabs and Harte Demolition who provided the buses; Loughmacrory GAA for all their assistance during the wake; friends and neighbours who helped with car parking and drove the buses and kept everything flowing for those few days.
We extend a special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and medical professionals who cared for Madge, particularly the SWAH, Enniskillen, the community of Slieve na Mon Care Home and all who cared for her with kindness and dignity. We will always be deeply grateful for the care shown to Madge and to our family.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Fr Colhoun and Fr McAnenly for their spiritual support and guidance to our family over the wake and funeral. Their presence and prayers brought great comfort. We are especially thankful to Fr. Fraser for the beautiful celebration of Madge’s Requiem Mass, which so poignantly and personally reflected and celebrated her life.
We further wish to acknowledge Martin Donnelly of Charles Lynch Funeral Directors, for arranging and carrying out the wake and funeral with such professionalism, dignity and sensitivity. We are deeply appreciative for the distances covered and detours made to make Madge’s final journey home so meaningful.
Our sincere thanks to Bernie Maguire and Mickey Mc Gurk for the beautiful music, which added so much to the funeral liturgy.
We also extend our thanks to the gravediggers and sacristan for their support, and to the staff of Aghyaran Centre for providing the beautiful refreshments after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Madge’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 18th July at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Aghyaran and can also be viewed using the link below:
