Maeve MARSHALL

We, the family of the late Maeve Marshall (Colman, Melanie and Ian) of Cloghole Road, Campsie, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, donated to NI Chest Heart & Stroke, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers and those who brought food and made tea throughout the wake. This was a great comfort to us at a very sad time.

We extend a special thanks to Fr McDermott and Fr Canny for their great support, kind words and meaningful Requiem Mass and to those who took part in any way. We wish to thank Fidelma McCormick and Aidan Watkins for the beautiful music at the mass.

We wish to thank the staff in Cityview Medical, the Community Nurses and the wonderful Carers who looked after Maeve. Thanks to the Ambulance Crew, the staff in the Emergency Department and Ward 25 of Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for Maeve so well. We wish to thank Fr Sean O’Donnell, the hospital Chaplin, who said final prayers with Maeve and her family, which was a great comfort to us all.

Finally, thanks to all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.

Maeve’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale on Friday 8th April 2022 at 7.30 pm.
