We the family of the late Maggie Black wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We are extremely grateful to our family, friends and Emergency Services, who assisted Maggie at the house. Thank you to the Doctors and staff at Antrim Area Hospital for the care and support they offered Maggie and our family.
We are so very grateful to everyone who called at the house, sent mass and sympathy cards, gave donations, called, texted, who sent flowers and posted messages of condolence on social media, or helped in any way. These messages of love and support helped us get through a very difficult time.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Funeral mass and to all who gathered outside our home and paid their respect along the route to the Chapel, we are truly grateful. A special thanks to Fr Dermot McKay (PP) for his spiritual support and guidance and the meaningful funeral mass, Fr Aidan O’Kane for his attendance. Thanks also to the Weir & Graham families for the beautiful singing and music, the sacristan and those who prepared the grave.
Thank you to Ambrose McSparron & Sons Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements and to The Londonderry Arms Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral.
It is impossible for us to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement can express our heartfelt appreciation and sincere thanks to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
A thanksgiving mass for Maggie will take place on Sunday 2nd January at 11.00am in the Church of St John the Evangelist, Carnlough, this can also be viewed via the parish webcam.
