Died - 22nd June 2025
It’s been a year since you were called home,
A year of learning to carry on alone.
As a family, we stand, though not always the same,
Still joined by your love, still speaking your name.
We don’t always gather, or say all we feel,
But the space that you left is quietly real.
In small, quiet moments, in things left unsaid,
We remember your voice, your presence, your stead.
We pray for your soul in God’s tender care,
Trusting His mercy has welcomed you there.
The rosary beads pass gently through hands,
Each prayer a bridge only faith understands.
We picture you now in Heaven’s light,
Free from all pain, made whole and bright.
And though we still miss you more than we show,
It’s God’s grace that gives us the strength to go on.
So today, as a family, in faith we remain,
Holding your memory through love and through pain.
One year has passed, but this we know true,
In God’s eternal peace, we are still close to you.
Loved and forever missed by your husband Bobby, children Paul, Charles, Damien, Mairead and Brian, your grandchildren, brothers and sisters and wider family circle and friends.
Majella’s 1st Anniversary Mass will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 23rd June in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. All welcome.
