The family of the late Malachy Bradley would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us following the recent loss of Malachy, a much-loved husband, father, granda, brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law and uncle.

Thank you to all who attended the wake and the funeral, sent messages of condolence, Mass Cards and sympathy cards. A special thank-you to the priests of the parishes of the Three Patrons, St. Eugene’s and Waterside for their support throughout. Also to the wider family circle, friends and neighbours who supported us through our loss, and to all who provided gifts of food and refreshments at the wake.

Sincerest thanks to family friend, Fr. John Forbes, for his prayers, comfort and guidance throughout, and for celebrating Malachy’s beautifully fitting Requiem Mass. We also thank Fr. Sean O’Donnell for concelebrating the Mass, the sacristan for assisting us on the day, and those who read or brought the gifts to the altar. A special word of thanks goes to Lauren and Beth for their outstanding music and to the members of Malachy’s family who also added to this.

Thank you to the nurses and doctors in Altnagelvin Hospital, especially those within A&E and Ward 42, who cared for Malachy with such tenderness in his final weeks. We cannot express our thanks enough for the care you offered to us all.

Thank you to all at W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements, especially to Kieran for his support and guidance throughout.

Thanks also to the management and staff of Da Vinci’s Hotel for providing refreshments after the funeral.
We realise that it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, but we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation and gratitude.

Malachy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 14th September 2023 at 6.30pm in St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his gentle soul.
