Finnegan Malachy, Died suddenly 11th June 2025

Beloved husband of Catherine, loving father of Ted, Eve, Daniel and Peter, much loved son of Maire and the late Malachy, adored brother of Mary, Patrick, Anne and Claire.

Malachy will be reposing at his late residence 101 Ballylenaghan Park, Belfast, visitors are welcome to pay their respects on Saturday and Sunday between 1.00pm and 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Monday 16th June at 11.00am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Carryduff, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in thee.

Deeply regretted by his entire family circle and friends.

Malachy was my dear friend. We spent the best of times in Boston and New York where he bought his beloved wife a necklace from Tiffany’s and I was so pleased to see the look on his face with delight. We also got first class flights because they thought we were a couple, no further from the truth. I remember he said to me that as soon as his saw Catherine he knew she would be his wife. So sweet, just like him. Sadly missed my good friend and colleague Colette Reynolds Saturday 14 June 2025
