The death has occurred of:
Margaret McManus (née Conlon)
The husband, son, daughters, granddaughter, sons-in-law and entire family circle of the late Catherine (Margaret) McManus R.I.P., 48 Hill Street, Milford, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent heart-breaking bereavement. All the kind neighbours and friends who called at the house, those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of condolence, telephoned the house, sent floral tributes, wreaths. To all who attended the funeral and wake we wish to extend our deep gratitude. We thank the many individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake and to the hard working helpers who provided tea and refreshments. A special word of thanks to the Delaney family, Hill Street for their invaluable help and support.
Sincere thanks to Parish Administrator Fr Barry Matthews who celebrated Margaret’s beautiful Requiem Mass and for his most eloquent and touching homily. To Eilis Fox for the lovely singing and music at the Mass; to the readers and Eucharistic Minister Mrs Patricia McMahon.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff of the Friary Surgery, the District Community Nursing Team, Specialist Palliative Care Team and Marie Curie for the care and attention Margaret received in the final days of her relatively short illness.
Thanks also to the Ulster GAA Council and Armagh County GAA Board for their support. Also Cordelia’s for the lovely food they provided during the wake.
Finally, we wish to thank Funeral Directors J J McArdle and Sons for the professional and dignified manner in the way they carried out the funeral arrangements and for the advice and support throughout this difficult time. Thanks also to the gravediggers.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually it is trusted that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Margaret’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 21st July at 7.30pm in St Malachy’s Church, Armagh
