The family of the late Margaret (Rita) Donaghey , 300 Carnhill and formerly of St Joseph’s Park, Slavery, Buncrana, wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to many friends, neighbours and well wishers who attended the service and burial and provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to the doctors in Oakleaf Medical Centre, Respiratory nurses, carers , Macmillan nurses and particularly Janet Sweeney and Eileen Moore for their kindness and respect shown at all times. For those who participated in the mass, especially Fr. Michael McCaughey, the readers and musicians and finally W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions. Rita’s Months Mind mass will be celebrated in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill on Sunday 24th January 2021 at 12.30 pm and can be viewed live via the webcam.
