Margery HOLMES

The family of the late Margery Holmes would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on their sudden loss of a much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and auntie.

We would like to thank Fr Michael Canny for celebrating the funeral Mass and for the lovely manner he spoke about Margery. To Margery’s niece Aine McDaid and Fidelma McNamee for the beautiful signing and music throughout the Mass.

To all our family across the water, we know you were there with us all and are always grateful of the special times spent with Margery and with us.

A special word of thanks to the staff of W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their sympatric professionalism, in guiding us through the arrangements. You made a difficult time more bearable.

To all who called to the house, sent sympathy cards, flowers, sent messages, provided food and helped us out, we are very grateful and know you are always there for us.

We cannot express the love and care our Carers have provided to Margery over the past five years. We will never be able to repay you for the love, laughter and support on difficult days - our friends forever.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we offer a Mass for you all and hope you accept is as a token for all the kindness you have shown to us at this difficult time.

Margery’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, on Friday 2nd February 2024 at 7.30 pm. Everyone welcome.
