We the family of Marie Mallon , wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciated to all those who offered support and sympathy to them during their sad loss.
To our family, friends and kind neighbours whose help was invaluable over the time of wake and funeral. To all who attended the wake, funeral, brought Mass and sympathy cards, from near and far, gifts of food and floral tributes, we as a family thank you.
A special word of thanks to our neighbours, family members and friends who prepared Maries Home and worked tirelessly throughout the wake making sure callers and everyone was looked after. To the many local businesses who sent food and sandwiches to the house throughout the wake this was very much appreciated . Thanks To the Murray Family who supplied food on morning of funeral for both the Mallon & Lennon Families.
A special thanks to Evora Hospice, The Mandeville unit Craigavon, Abbey Court Docs Surgery, Armagh District Nurse Team and McKeevers Chemist Dobbin Street for the great care and attention they had given to Marie throughout her illness.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Barry Matthews for Maries beautiful & personal funeral service. Also a thank you to Deacon Martin Brennan & Canon Sean Neill for assisting at the Funeral. To our family friend, soloist Catherine Grimley for her beautiful singing and music throughout the service.
Our sincere gratitude to Bridget Mone, Funeral Director, for the professional and dignified manner in which she carried out the funeral arrangements. To Madden Community Centre for providing the lovely refreshments after the burial.
A special thanks to Madden GFC who provided a guard of honour throughout Marie’s Funeral service, to the Loudres Committee on their guard of honour at the chapel. To all Marie’s neighbours and friends who stood along the way to pay their respects as we made our journey to St Jospephs Chapel Madden.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our thanks.
Marie’s month mind mass will be celebrated in St Malachys Chapel Armagh on Sunday 28th June at 9.30am
