Marie MCAFEE (née MCCARRY)
The family of the late Marie McAfee (née McCarry), Glenshesk Road, Armoy, wish to express our sincere gratitude to our extended family, friends, neighbours and all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. We greatly appreciate the support and kindness shown during Marie's illness and at the time of her passing.
A special thanks to the staff in Ward A7 and A&E in Antrim Area Hospital, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, the staff in Dalriada Hospital, Dr Hassan, Ballycastle Medical Practice, District Nurses, personal assistants, homecare staff and all who made it possible for Marie to spend as long in her home as she did.
We are deeply grateful to all who called at the house, brought food, sent Mass and sympathy cards and messages of condolence, made donations to M.S. Society and attended the funeral.
Sincere thanks to Father Butler in celebrating the Requiem Mass, to Edel and Clodagh for providing the beautiful music and to Anna and her team for the catering in the Clubrooms afterwards.
Finally, thanks to David and all at DJM Robinson & Son for their guidance and the dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks.
Marie's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 11th July at 6.30pm in St. Olcan's Church, Armoy.
May her gentle soul, rest in peace.
