27th January 2024, peacefully, at the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.

Mark Robert, late of 28 Hillview Park, Enniskillen. A much loved partner of Patrick, and a beloved son of Trevor and the late Angela. Also a very dear brother of Julie, and Dawn, and a dear uncle of Kym, Heather, Ricky, Chris and Jenni.

Family home private please.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a service of thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Mark at Lakelands Crematorium, Co Cavan on Monday at 4.15pm.

Donations in memory of Mark are to Bright Eyes, Enniskillen. Please make all cheques payable to "Bright Eyes" and send to Marcus Madill Funeral Director, Office & Funeral Home, Drumclay Park North, Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen, BT74 6ND.

Mark will be always lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by his family and all the family circle.

I knew Mark (Big Mark) or as I would call him for almost 40 years. He soon became my best friend and we stayed in contact regularly. We both lived in Bangor, and enjoyed meeting up whether it be for a pizza often with friends Alan, Judy & Barry or speaking on the phone.

He had such a great sense of humour, and often had me gasping for a breath as I couldn't breathe for laughter. He was ever so kind and thoughtful, and for me he was always supportive at times of despair.

He loved his cats, and to him they were his children.
He doted on Jazz & Sasha who both lived long happy lives. His currentchild' Honey was similarly loved, and I know she will miss him greatly.

Now, Marks partner Paddy - He was Marks rock.
Paddy cared, loved & helped Mark through so many tough times that Mark endured, and bearing in mind he himself had some major issues health-wise including bereavement suffered when both his parents passed away only months apart, his devotion didn't waiver.

Mark had the most lovely parents who I always enjoyed chatting with. His late Mum (Angela) passed away some years back, and this obviously hit Mark, his Dad(Trevor), sisters Dawn, Julie and their families hard.

I was in England just a week ago, and Mark & I spoke every day. He was my best mate, my go-to when I needed a shoulder or to share a laugh.

I was honoured that he served as my Best Man for my Wedding in 2004, he certainly was my Best Man.

He kept up with my love of football, he even went to Stamford Bridge with me. He was always keen to hear of stadiums I attended + he was an expert on winding me up if results didn't quite go my way.. I'm smiling now.

I am sure my tears will decrease in time, but his memories I will treasure for ever always.?? Simon Freedman Sunday 28 January 2024
