Mark Lyons
Rockfield Park, Belleek

6th November 2024

The Lyons Family wish to express their heartfelt thanks for the support they received since the passing of their beloved Mark. Thank you to those who visited the wake to offer condolences, those who attended Marks funeral mass, who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support, all those who phoned, wrote or shared memories & kind messages online. To the many people and businesses who provided us with home cooked meals and refreshments for the wake. To our extended families, our neighbours, friends, local community and surrounding areas we will be forever grateful for the comfort & solace your support brought to us throughout this most difficult time. To our local GAA club Erne Gaels, words cannot express our gratitude for all you have done for us and Mark as we laid him to rest. To all gaels throughout the county and beyond thank you for your support. For all those who provided guards of honour as we brought Mark to his final resting place, it really was very special. Our sincere thanks to the care staff in Plymouth who looked after Mark during his short illness. Very special thanks to Fr McManus for his support and guidance and for the very fitting funeral mass. To Fr McGroarty, Fr Beggan and Fr Brian for their prayers and words of comfort. To Aoife and Therese for the beautiful music at Marks Funeral Mass and Stephen with the bagpipes for leading the procession from the house and to the grave yard. Thank you also to Bernard, Peter and Martin for the professional and comforting service they provided in bringing Mark home, throughout the wake and laying Mark to rest. To the gravediggers who prepared Marks final resting place thank you. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Marks months mind mass will take place on Saturday 7th December in St. Patricks Church Belleek @ 7pm fittingly along with his beloved cousin Donnas 18th Anniversary Mass. May they Rest in Peace.
