Martina (Teeny) Rodgers RIP Whitebridge Rd Carrickmore. Who passed away suddenly on the 16th June 2025.
We, the family of the late Martina (Teeny) Rodgers, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their sympathy and support following the loss of our beloved Daughter, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, Neighbour, Colleague, and Friend.
To our family, neighbours, and friends — thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible support, compassion, and generosity you showed during Teeny’s wake and funeral. We were truly overwhelmed by your kindness, and it brought us great comfort during such a heartbreaking time. We will be forever grateful.
We are deeply thankful to our friend and emergency services who attended to Teeny on the morning of her passing. Your efforts and presence in those final moments will never be forgotten.
Sincere gratitude to everyone who called to our family home during the wake. Those who sent mass and sympathy cards, flowers and posted beautiful social media tributes, it demonstrates the high regard in which Teeny was held. To our family members, friends, neighbours and local businesses who brought food and provided refreshments, who helped in any way, we are very appreciative for everything you have done for our family. It gives us great comfort knowing Teeny was loved and appreciated by so many in our community.
A heartfelt thank you to Teeny's wonderful colleagues at Omagh Hospital. Your presence at the wake and the touching guard of honour at her funeral meant so much. Hearing your kind words and treasured memories were deeply moving and brought great comfort during this difficult time. It’s clear she was so loved and will be missed dearly by you all. Also our sincere thanks for the guard of honour from Eire Óg Hurling and Camogie Club and St. Colmcille's Primary School.
Thank you to all those who joined us for Requiem Mass, both within the chapel and online. We are deeply grateful to Fr. Peter McAnenly P.P and Fr O’Dwyer P.P Dunmoyle for their spiritual guidance and continued support. We also convey our appreciation to the Sacristan, altar servers, eucharistic ministers and family members who took part during the mass. To the musicians Sinead Taggart and Damien Cullen for the beautiful music which truly enhanced the mass.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fox & McCallan Undertakers, Peadar, Kelley, and Ryan, for your unwavering support, guidance, and reassurance throughout. We are so grateful for the respectful and timely way in which Teeny was brought home to us, and for the dignity and professionalism with which every detail of the funeral was carried out. A special thank you to Seamus for all his help and kindness also to the grave diggers for preparing Teeny’s final resting place with such care.
A special thank you to all the staff at the Charm Inn for the warm hospitality and refreshments provided after the funeral. Your kindness and care were truly appreciated.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped and supported us.
We miss Teeny every single day. Her kind heart and bright spirit left a lasting mark on all of us. May her gentle soul rest in peace, always loved and never forgotten.
Teenys Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church Dunmoyle on Friday 18th July at 7pm.
