Johnston Martin

The family of the late Martin Johnston (Mumba), wife Nora, sons, sisters,
brothers stepchildren, grandchildren and family wish to express their sincere
thanks to all those who sympathised with us by attending the wake and funeral,
brought mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged or
posted online their condolences, these were greatly appreciated.

A special word of thanks to the local first responders and
ambulance paramedics who were in attendance.

Heartfelt thanks to the many neighbours, relations and friends who
brought gifts of food, sent floral tributes and
those who travelled long distances to attend the wake and funeral.

The locals that helped serve refreshments in our
home during the wake and with parking arrangements.

Sincere thanks to Fr David Nugent who celebrated Martin’s Funeral Mass,
for his lovely personal eulogy and for his support and prayers.

Thanks to those who read and carried offertory gifts and the
sacristan in St Patrick’s Cathedral.
To Cathy and Patricia for the memorable music and
singing throughout the Funeral Mass.

Thanks to the Valerie at the Open Box catering and staff for
providing the food after the funeral and to Pearse Ogs Club for the use of their facilities.

A special word of thanks to the funeral directors JJ McArdle and Sons
for carrying out the funeral arrangements in such a dignified manner.
Also, to Armagh Blooms for the beautiful flowers,
Cordelia’s Chippy for the food during the wake.
As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually,
please accept the acknowledgement as an expression
of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Martin’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 13th March at 7.30pm in
St Malachy’s Church.
