Acknowledgement – Martin Turbitt, formerly of Glencull, Ballygawley.
Martin passed away on the 3rd October, a dearly loved brother, uncle and friend. We, his family, would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent mass or sympathy cards, flowers, or who left messages on-line or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake at St Julians House, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the requiem mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Michael O’Dwyer, P.P. for his spiritual support and for the comforting requiem mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our singer, Noleen Neill who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Brendan for preparing Martin’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles & Petals for the lovely floral tributes and to Kelly’s Inn for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally we send our grateful thanks to all the staff of St Julian's House, Omagh who cared so well for Martin for their kindness and compassion.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Martin is ever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, his month’s mind mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church, Ballymacilroy on Friday 3rd November at 7pm. Our Lady pray for him.
