Month’s Mind Acknowledgement for the late Mary (May) Grant.

We, the family of the late May Grant wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement.

A special thanks to all those who called at the house, brought food, gave mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, sent messages of sympathy or helped in any way.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. Charlie Byrne who visited mummy monthly and more frequently towards the end of her life. We thank Fr. Charlie for the beautiful Requiem Mass and for his comforting words and prayers, also a special thanks to Canon Francis Brown for assisting with the Requiem Mass and the prayers at the graveside.

Thank you to the Eucharistic Ministers and to Éadaoin Devlin and Eileen Mooney for the beautiful music and singing.

To Dr. Siobhan Wade, The Acute Care Team and The District Nursing Team and The Rutledge Domiciliary Team for looking after mummy with such care and attention.
A massive thank you to her sitters Elaine Cromie and Rosaleen Faloon for the care they showed mummy.

Thank you also to the Drumgath Ladies Group and St. Patrick’s Primary School, Drumgreenagh for the Guard of honour at the funeral.

Thank you also to Peter Doran Funeral Directors for their professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements.

Thank you to Drumgath GAC for the use of their hall and The Milestone for the refreshments.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a sincere appreciation.

May’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 15th May 2025 in St. Patrick’s Church, Drumgath at 7.30pm.

Have you considered?
