We, the family of the late Mary (Mavis) O’Hara wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of a much loved mother, granny and friend to many.

We would like to sincerely thank our extended family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes, online messages and those who gave online donations to Laurel House, Antrim Area Hospital, all of which have been much appreciated.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the staff at Laurel House and Ward C7, Antrim Area Hospital for their kindness and compassion throughout.

Our sincere gratitude to Father Jain Mathew for celebrating a beautiful Requiem Mass. A special thank you to Siobhan Flanagan for the lovely singing and music throughout the Mass.

We gratefully acknowledge Bairds of Antrim, especially Jackie, for their support, professionalism and compassion throughout the wake and funeral arrangements. We are also thankful to the staff at Dunsilly Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Mavis’ month mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Antrim on Friday 17th July at 7pm.

Kieran, Declan, Brendan, Joanne and families.
