The death has occurred of:
Mary Veronica (Vera) RANKIN
Acknowledgement for the late Vera Rankin
We, the family of the late Vera Rankin, wish to express our thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us during our recent and sad bereavement of a dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and sister. We offer heartfelt thanks to all who visited the wake and attended the funeral, sent mass cards, sympathy cards and floral tributes.
A special word of thanks to Fr McFaul and all the doctors and nurses in Ward 26, who cared for Mum during her illness. Also to Brother Thomas and Fr McCaughey for the beautiful Requiem Mass and Beth for the beautiful singing and music. A very special thanks to all the carers who attended Mum while at home and to all in Longfield Care Home, Eglinton, who looked after Mum throughout her stay.
Thanks to Kieran and all at W J O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their professional and dignified manner in which they handled the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest thanks and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
Vera’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 3rd March 2022 in St Brigid's Church, Carnhill at 6.30 pm.
Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
