Mary Conway (Coalisland) RIP 7th May 2025.

We the family of the late Mary Conway wish to express our sincere appreciation with those who sympathised with us on our recent, sad bereavement.

We want to thank our families, neighbours and friends who sympathised with us and those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolence. We thank everyone who visited the house, attended the funeral or watched online.

We thank Mum’s neighbours for their friendship and support and for providing food during the wake and for her grandchildren for their invaluable help with teas. We thank Coalisland Fianna for providing chairs, cups etc.

We thank Father Eugene O’Neill for his spiritual visits to Mum at home over the years and for all his support in organising Mum’s funeral Mass. His words during the Requiem Mass were very comforting. To Nuala and Briege, thank you for the music and singing which was a beautiful and fitting tribute to Mum.

We want to thank Paddy, the sacristan and Gary for preparing Mum’s final resting place.

We thank the girls from Clogher Valley Care who cared for Mum at home.

We especially thank Gary, Shona and all the staff at Corkhill Care Centre for the exceptional love and care shown to Mum since January 2022. It was always comforting to know how well Mum was being looked after. To you all and to the residents and their families, thank you for your friendship and for the dignified guard of honour for mum as she left the home.

To Dermot, Hugh and Mairead Quinn of Quinn Bros., thank you for all your help and support and for carrying out all the arrangements with such professionalism and respect.

To The Glenavon House Hotel, thank you for the beautiful meal after the funeral.

Mary will be greatly missed by her daughters Aideen and Ciara, her son Brian, her grandchildren Daniel, Caoimhe, Daire (Niamh), Lauren, Ellen, Amy, Niamh, Claire and Eimear, her sons-in-law Kevin
and Peter, daughter-in-law Cathy, brothers-in-law Malachy and Diarmuid, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Mary’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 6th June at 7.30pm in St. Mary and St. Joseph’s Church and can be viewed online.
