The family of the late Mary Douglas wish to express our heartfelt gratitude and deepest appreciation to everyone who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
We offer our sincere thanks to our wonderful relatives, friends and neighbours who attended Mum's wake and funeral, helped with refreshments, brought beautiful flowers, mass cards, gifts and messages of sympathy. To those who travelled long distances to be with us, your presence brought immense comfort to our family.
A special and profound word of thanks is extended to the Marie Curie nurses, the Foyle Hospice medical staff, and the dedicated carers who attended Mum in her final weeks. Your gentle care, compassion and dignity truly reflected the love of Christ in this world.
We are deeply grateful to the priests of our parish for their faithful spiritual guidance to Mum, and for celebrating her beautiful Requiem Mass. Mum's faith was the guiding light throughout her life.
We extend our thanks to the organist and singer for beautiful music during the service and to the caterers and staff at the Parochial Hall for their dedicated service and hospitality.
Finally, sincere gratitude is extended to W.J.O'Brien & Son Ltd. for their exceptional professionalism, dignity and deep respectfulness in handling all the funeral arrangements, allowing our family to focus entirely on honouring our mother's memory.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.

Mary's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Columb's Church, Chapel Road on Thursday 30th July at 7.30 pm. All welcome.
