Mary Hughes (née Devlin (Gaffer))

The son John and entire family circle of the late Mary Hughes (nee Devlin Gaffer Ardboe), late of Drummurrer Lane, Clonoe, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.

A word of thanks for the support of family, friends and neighbours, to those who sent cards, flowers, and gifts of food and messages of sympathy by text and social media, attended the wake, funeral or viewed online.

We extend our thanks to Canon Benedict Fee and Fr. John McCallion. Mary got great comfort from Fr.John’s regular visits. A word of thanks to all those who participated in the Requiem Mass, especially Fr. John McCallion, the readers, the musicians and those who helped with the offertory procession.

We wish to thank everyone who cared for Mary over the last few years.

We would like to thank Patsy Taggart Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the grave digger for preparing Mary’s final resting place. Thanks to Monica and Corky for the refreshments after the funeral.
