Mary Mc Ateer (née Murphy)

Mc Ateer (née Murphy), Mary - R.I.P. 2 Carnagh Park, Newry. 12th August 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Pat, loving mother of Patrick, Ciara, Vincent and Matthew, predeceased by her sister Kathleen.

Mary’s remains will repose at her home on Wednesday (13th August) and Thursday (14th August) from 12-9pm on both days. Removal on Friday morning (15th August) at 11.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Mary’s church, Chapel Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.

Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Very deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother John, son-in-law Brendan, daughters-in-law Patrice and Oonagh, Pat’s partner Karl and the extended family circle.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Newry Hospice c/o the donations box in the home or any family member.
