Mary McALEESE (née Bunting)
McALEESE, Mary (née Bunting) – (Newtownards and formerly of Holywood, Co. Down) 25th July 2026, peacefully and in the wonderful care of staff at Beverly Lodge Nursing Home, Newtownards.
Beloved wife of the late Liam, loving mum to Amanda, Matthew & Amy.
Much loved granny to Sinead, Liam, Katie, Maisie & Dylan.
Predeceased by her infant daughter AnnMarie, parents Francis & Bridget and her brother Frank. Mary will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family, her sisters Briege & Greta, and brother Aidan, brothers in law, sisters in law, daughter in law, sons in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and all who knew her.
Mary will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, The Rectory, 2 St Judes Avenue, Belfast, BT7 2GZ on Monday 3rd August from 3pm to 5pm for those wishing to pay their respects.
Requiem Mass will be held Tuesday 4th August in St Colmcille’s Church, Holywood at 10am followed by burial in Redburn Cemetery, Holywood, BT18 9QH.
