N.B. The month’s mind Mass for Mary will be celebrated in St MacNissi’s Church Magherahoney on Sunday 3rd November at 9.30am.
Donal, John, Emmett, Gráinne, Moira, Sheena, Catherine, Donna, Martin, Niall and the entire family circle of the late Mary RIP wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
They wish to deeply express their thanks to the wonderful and dedicated staff of the Cancer Centre in the City Hospital and also to all the doctors and nurses of the Country Medical Centre. A special word of thanks to Christina and Charlene for their kindness and support to Mary and her family.
Mary’s family wish to sincerely thank Fr Patsy Mulholland P.P. for his spiritual support and guidance during her illness and following her death, for celebrating the requiem mass and for his beautiful heartfelt tribute to her in his homily. Thank you to Monsignor Sean Connolly who also called at her family home to say prayers during the wake.
Thanks to the Gribbon Girls for the beautiful music, the Church Sacristans Anne & Ernie, Fionnuala McGuckian and staff for providing refreshments after the funeral, Loughgiel Community Association for the hire of the Millennium Centre and Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.
The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped and supported them during this difficult time. A special thanks to the Loughgiel Shamrocks GAC who along with family and friends assisted with the parking during the wake. They were deeply touched by the guard of honour provided by the Loughgiel school of Irish dance.
The family greatly appreciated the support of everyone who came to the house, brought food, helped in the home, sent messages, flowers, donations to Marie Curie, gave cards, and those who gathered along the route to the church. They were overwhelmed by the vast numbers that attended the wake and funeral.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at McKiernan & Sons Funeral Directors, especially Gregory and Michael Óg, for the professional, compassionate and dedicated manner in which they carried out and guided them through all aspects of the funeral arrangements. They truly supported them in a difficult time in their lives.
The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
