The family of the late Mary Murray R.I.P who passed away on the 28th June 2026 wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who offered support, comfort and sympathy to them during their recent sad bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited the wake, brought food, offered mass/sympathy cards and attended the funeral and a special word of thanks to those who travelled to be with us.

We are especially thankful to Fr Slater and Deacon Eamonn for the beautiful celebration of Mary’s requiem mass. Fr Slater, your homily was so poignant and personal, it celebrated and reflected Mary’s wonderful life. We are also thankful to you both along with Fr Hughes for attending the burial in St Joseph’s Killeenan.
A word of thanks to the Sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers from St Patrick’s Church Donaghmore.

Special thanks to our relatives and friends who helped during the wake and to the grave digggers who prepared her final resting place.
A special thanks to Mary’s neighbours the Quinn family, Victor Watt and Anthony Loughran for assisting with parking and transport to and from the wake house.

To the doctors and staff of Oaks Family Practice, Craigavon Area Hospital and the Royal Victoria ICU, for their care, warmth and support provided to Mary and the family during her illness.

To Niall A Loughran Funeral Directors for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
We are deeply appreciative for the distance covered to make Mary’s final journey home so meaningful.

To the readers, gift bearers, Jackie Fox and Eamonn Donnelly for the beautiful and touching singing and music during the funeral mass.

Thank you to Michael McElhatton and staff of the Greenvale Hotel for providing the funeral dinner.

To the people of Donaghmore Parish, it was incredible hearing how loved and valued Mary was in all areas of her life.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and everlasting gratitude to you all.

Finally to a much loved sister, we have been blessed to have had you in our lives. We thank you for the love, laughter and memories you leave behind. Your life touched so many and you will be remembered forever more.

Mary’s Month’s Mind mass will be held on Friday 24th July at 7.30pm in St Joseph’s Church Killeenan.
