The death has occurred of:
Matt MURPHY
The family of the late Matt Murphy of 26 Orritor street Cookstown, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement.
Our sincere gratitude to Fr Slater and Fr Boyle for their spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Matts beautiful Requiem Mass.
A special word of thanks to the Eucharist Ministers, the Church Sacristan and Margaret Ann Conlon for providing the lovely music and singing which made Matts Funeral Mass so special.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped care for Matt especially the dedicated team of carers from Extra Care and all took great care in looking after him in recent months.
To the doctors, nurses and staff of Mid ulster health care practice and to the staff of Gordon’s Pharmacy, also to the District nurses and the dedicated nursing team from Marie curie for all their care and support.
We are indebted to all those who supported us, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages, wreaths, floral tributes, and expressed their condolences via telephone and social media. Thank you to those who stood along the route as we made the journey from Orritor st. We took great comfort on the morning of the funeral from the support of everyone who lined the funeral cortège route, from those who joined us at the Chapel, and from those who viewed Matts funeral Mass online.
A special word of thanks to the gravediggers who prepared Matts resting place with great care and to all those who helped us in any way.
We would sincerely like to thank all at Niall A Loughrans funeral directors for their very efficient, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements during these difficult times.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Matts Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd December 2023 at 6pm in Holy Trinity Church Cookstown and can be viewed on the link below:
