We the family of the late Maud Catherine Ireland wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. To all those relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the home, brought gifts, sent cards, telephoned, cooked meals, attended the funeral our sincere thanks.
A special thanks to everyone who cared for our Mum, to the many carers Karen, Julie, Elaine, Yvonne and Shirley to name but a few for their dedication, support, care and attention . To Binu and all his staff at Lakeview Nursing Home Crumlin for their exceptional care. To Paula McMullan and Ethnie Cairns our mums Social Workers for all their support and guidance and attentive way you carried out and supported Mum and ourselves as a family thank you. Also to the Doctors and District nurses at Crumlin Health Centre, Antrim Area Hospital, The McMillan Unit at Antrim Area Hospital our heartfelt thanks, your professionalism, help and dedication have been invaluable.
A special word of thanks to the Rev., David Steele for conducting a beautiful funeral service and kind words and prayers to the family. To Mr Alan Stewart for playing the organ so wonderfully. Also to the Elders of Dundrod Presbyterian Church for their attendance and help with seating due to COVID restrictions. Thank you also to the grave digger.
To Jackie and all the team at Baird’s of Antrim Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thank you also to those who sent beautiful floral tributes and for any donations.
