The death has occurred of:
Maureen Bogle (née Crompton)
Acknowledgement – Maureen Bogle
Maureen's husband Kenneth, sons Christopher and Andrew (Linda), daughter Louise, and grandchildren Jake, Simon, William, and Lily wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered sympathy during their recent sad and sudden bereavement.
We deeply appreciate all who took the time to call, send cards, letters, and messages via text and social media. We are especially grateful to those who came in large numbers to the house and funeral service to support us and offer their condolences, as well as to those who, unable to attend, sent messages of support afterward. For those who travelled great distances, including from overseas, your presence meant a great deal to us during this difficult time.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who has made donations in lieu of flowers to the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance in Maureen's memory. Your generosity brings us comfort, knowing that other families will benefit greatly from this support in the future.
We would like to express our profound gratitude to the entire team in the Intensive Care Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital for their dedication and care of Maureen during her most challenging time, in addition we would like to thank the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service for their swift actions in getting Maureen to the hospital in an expedited fashion. Special thanks go to her ICU Consultant, Dr Alex, and her specialist nurse, Emily, who remained by her bedside during her brief stay.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Jonathan Cowan for his pastoral support to the entire family, and to all our friends and work colleagues who offered great support to Kenny, Christopher, Andrew and Louise. A special mention goes to Maureen's best friend, Jackie, for her unwavering love and support during our most painful time.
Our sincere thanks to Robert, Derek, and David at Armstrong Funeral Directors for their professional and caring manner in handling Maureen's funeral arrangements with such dignity.
We are grateful to Abercorn Estates for the use of the Carriage Room for Maureen’s refreshments after the funeral, and to Dawn Keys and the Girls for their wonderful spread and hospitality. Thanks also to the gravediggers and staff of Derry & Strabane District Council.
Since Maureen’s passing, it is impossible to thank everyone individually who has helped the family in any way. Please accept this message as a token of our deep appreciation.
