Maureen BROPHY (née O'Hara)
BROPHY (nee O'Hara) Maureen (Perth, Western Australia), died September 3, 2019 peacefully at hospital. Maureen, much loved wife of Lawrence, devoted mother of Brendan, daughter of the late Mark and Olive O'Hara (formerly of the Glen Road, Belfast). Beautiful sister of Mark, Terence, Tricia, Linda, Brenda and Carol. Will be sadly missed by her family and the entire family circle.
We did not know that morning what sadness the day would bring,
your golden heart stopped beating and we couldn't do a thing.
They say that hearts don't really break, Lord that is just not true,
the day You took our sister Maureen, You broke our hearts in two.
Your parting was so sudden, we ask ourselves why,
the hardest part of all was, we never said goodbye.
