The death has occurred of:
Maureen CAMPBELL (née (O'Donnell))
Rosemary, Angela and Joseph, the children of the late Maureen Campbell, Prehen Park, wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love and support shown to us during our recent sad bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, family, extended family circle, neighbours and Maureen’s past work colleagues, doctor and carers for their kindness in calling at our home, sending Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and messages of sympathy and to all those from near and far who attended Maureen’s funeral.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Lagan, CC Glendermott Parish, for celebrating Maureen’s Requiem Mass and Michelle Conaghan for the beautiful music.
A special word of thanks to Dr Foy and his fellow doctors, and staff of Quayside Medical Practice; and the doctors, nurses and other staff of Altnagelvin Hospital and Waterside Hospital; to all the district nurses, and to the staff of Gordon’s Chemist (Waterloo Place) for their medical attention and care during Maureen’s declining health and recent illness.
We also thank carers from WHSCT, Strabane and District Caring; Bryson Care, North West Care and latterly Glen Caring, who looked after Maureen at home.
We extend a special thank you to Phyllis McLaughlin, who so generously and with such good humour gave Maureen so much friendship and care.
Thanks to Kieran and the staff of W J O’Brien Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks to those who donated to RNLI in Maureen’s memory.
As it would be impossible to thank individually all those whose kindness has brought such comfort to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Maureen’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 18 March 2023 at 7.00 pm in St Columb's Church, Waterside.
