We the family of the late Maureen Doherty, would like to express our sincere thanks to all the neighbours, relations, friends and colleagues who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement.
We have been overwhelmed by all those who called to the house, left food and beverages, messages, sympathy cards, prayers and stories of mammy's life, which have been a great comfort to us at the wake, at the funeral and in the days since. They were a series of beautiful tributes, showing the impact she had on so many people's lives.
We would like to express our unending thanks to Dr. Doohan, district nurses and staff from Oakleaf Medical Practice who work with mum, for the care, compassion and sympathy shown to her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are indebted to the Hospital Care At Home Team who attended mum on a few occasions over the past few months, we are forever grateful.
We are appreciative to Fr. Daniel McFaul for delivering a beautiful Requiem Mass, Sarah Griffen, Isobel Caldwell and Danny McGilloway for the beautiful musical tribute in her memory.
Thank you to Bradley & McLaughlin for their discreet, professional and dignified manner in organising the funeral.
And, finally to our Republican family, for their fitting tribute to mum, especially Kevin Campbell for the oration.
Mum's Month's Mind Mass will be held on Tuesday 14th July at 7:30pm in St. Mary's Church, Creggan.
