We, the family of the late Maureen Donnelly, 167 Ardmore Road, Derry, wish to express our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone who has sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards and sent donations to the Foyle Hospice in lieu of flowers. Thanks also to friends and neighbours for providing refreshments during the wake.
Sincere thanks to the staff of Ward 31, Altnagelvin Area Hospital, the doctors of Park Medical, especially Dr O’Donnell, District Nurses and the caring agencies who looked after Mammy in her final year.
A special thanks to Fr Michael Canny for his support during her hospital stay. Thanks also to Fr McGrory for conducting her funeral Mass, and, along with Fr Farran, visiting her at home and providing spiritual support.
Sincere thanks to Kieran and the staff at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for their guidance, care and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Also thanks to Fidelma McCormick for her beautiful singing during the funeral Mass, and to McCourt’s Bar for providing refreshments after the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
Maureen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore on Saturday 26th November 2022 at
6pm. The mass can be viewed online via the church webcam.
