On May 21, 2026, peacefully at home in her 87th year in Summerland, British Columbia, Canada. Beloved daughter of Gordon and Dorothy (McKee) Downey. Loving mother of Wendy and husband Don, son Simon and wife Linda. Proud and loving grandmother of Ava and Sam. Dear sister of James, wife Sheena and their children Clare and Sam. She is sadly missed by all her extended family and her many friends around the world. “The road has risen to meet the Irish girl - may God now hold you in the palm of his hand.”
