Maureen Hughes (née Flood)
Hughes, Maureen, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Dearly beloved wife to the late Gerry, deeply devoted mother to her Son Gerry and her Daughters Frances, Anita and Annmarie. Sons in law Gregory and John and daughter in law Christina. A deeply loved grandmother to her grandchildren, and great grandson deeply regretted by her brother Fintan (Elizabeth) and sisters Catherine (Mal) Christine (Bobby) and Ann (Roger) Nieces,Nephews and entire family circle.
She asked for so little in life, yet gave so much of herself to all of us. The heart of our family, our strength and our home — we will spend the rest of our lives missing her, loving her, and being grateful that she was ours.
Funeral Arrangements:
Wake will be held in her home residence 54 Forest park, Friday 3rd July Wake strictly Family Only, Saturday 4th July and Sunday 5th July wake is open until 10pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday 6th July leaving her late residence at 10:30am for requiem mass in St Patrick’s church at 11am, Drumintee with interment in adjoining cemetery.
Sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on her soul.
