The family of the late May McIntyre (nee Quinn) wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. Thanks to all our family, friends, neighbours and all who helped and attended the wake, brought and sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, sent flowers and to all who attended the funeral.
Many thanks to those who brought food, Bistro 21,The Mill Restaurant, Murphy’s on the Green, Fir Trees Hotel, McBrearty’s Mace and Haughey’s for the lovely food provided throughout the wake. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will not be forgotten.
We would also like to thank all those who cared for May throughout the years; Strabane District Caring, North West Caring, Bryson Caring, Marie Curie nurses and Foyle Hospice. A special thanks to May’s private carers Elaine, Betty Pauline, Bernie, Mary, Kay and Caroline.
Many thanks to Fr Michael Doherty, Fr Declan Boland and Fr Malachy Gallagher for their pastoral care and support given to May throughout her illness. An extended heartfelt appreciation to Fr Malachy Gallagher for the beautiful and fitting celebration of May’s Requiem Mass. A special word of thanks to Ruth Corey and Gerard Bradley for the beautiful music throughout the Mass.
To Jude Maguire and his team for their professionalism and compassionate handling of May’s funeral arrangements; your support was invaluable to us.
A special word of thanks to all the staff at Parkland 33 and Strabane Golf Club for providing the lovely food and refreshments served after the funeral.
The outpouring of support and kindness we have received has been truly overwhelming.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. May will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughters, son and daughter in laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, sisters and family circle.

May’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 15th April at 7.00 pm Saint Mary’s Church Melmount.
