The family of the late May McColgan R.I.P would like to pass on our sincere thanks to all those who offered their sympathy and condolences on the death of our dear mother, beloved wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and cousin.
Thanks to everyone who came to the wake, attended the funeral, brought or sent Mass and sympathy cards, sent messages, made telephone calls, used social media and to all who brought food and gifts. The family take great comfort from you all sharing in the celebration of our mother's life.
A special word of thanks to Fr Noel McDermott who attended mammy devoutly in her last years and for the lovely funeral Mass. You guided us with grace and dignity. Also to Monsignor Doran and Brian the sacristan.
To the funeral director Kieran O Brien and his team for your professionalism and kindness. Your support, advice and guidance was invaluable to the family at this most difficult time.
Thank you to the musicians for the beautiful music.
To Anne for her lovely singing of the psalm and to everyone who took part in mammy's Requiem Mass.
To Ramona the florist for her Kindness, professionalism and patience and the most beautiful flower arrangements.
Thanks also to the doctors and nurses of Eglinton Medical Health Centre and to all the other carers for your dedicated and compassionate care given to mammy. The family truly appreciate your support and feel comforted in knowing we had such good help.
Thanks to Cassidy's shop for providing the catering after Mass in the hall. It was greatly appreciated by the family.
To Mary the hairdresser who mammy loved to see coming every week. Your attentiveness meant a lot to the family.
It is impossible to thank everyone, so to everyone who reached out during our time of mourning, please know your comforting expressions of sympathy will always be remembered with deep gratitude.
