ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOTICE from the family of the late May Murphy
We, the family of the late May Murphy, would like to extend our gratitude to our family and friends who attended the wake and the funeral for May. We are also incredibly thankful for the cards, calls and many stories and memories shared about ‘Nanny Mo’.
Thank you all for your kind donations in lieu of flowers, for the Southern Area Hospice. The total raised was £950.
To the carers who helped her family look after May so well during her final years. Thank you.
A special mention of thanks to the Rev Nigel Agnew (Riverside RPC) for his pastoral visits, support and conducting the Service of Thanksgiving for May’s life.
Our thanks to Downshire Road Presbyterian Church Newry, for kindly granting the use of their church building for the service.
A huge thank you to Gavin and the Staff at George Preston Funeral Directors. The mix of compassion, advice and professionalism shown during this sad time has been so greatly appreciated.
To those who provided help at the house, with food, beverages and tidying and organising; it has been so helpful and just how ‘Nanny’ would have done it.
