Michael (Mickey) KENNEDY

The family of the late Michael Kennedy R.I.P. of 40 Woodvale Road, Eglinton, wish to express our thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

Our sincere gratitude to the nurses and caring staff at Waterside Hospital who were so kind and took such great care of Michael during his time there and also to the numerous carers who called with him daily at home prior to that.

Thank you to all those who called at the home, telephoned, travelled, sent personal letters, floral tributes, posted messages of condolence on social media, sympathy cards and mass cards, supplied food or helped support us in any way. Thank you to the many relatives, neighbours, friends and wider community who came to pay their respects, attended Requiem Mass or joined us via the Church Webcam.

We would especially like to thank Father Noel McDermott for his spiritual support and for the beautiful Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Denise for the wonderful singing and music.

Finally thank you to WJ O’Brien & Son Funeral Director, Eglinton for their professional and dignified service and all the help and guidance they delivered through the most difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest thanks and appreciation.

Mickey’s months mind mass will take place at 10:00am on Sunday 17th October 2021 at St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin, Eglinton.

Have you considered?
